Data in the trial request
The order form collects: your name, email address and delivery address; the name and number of the landline to protect; the names and numbers you want to allow; the names and mobile numbers of the relatives to alert; your filtering preferences.
We use this data only to set up, deliver and invoice the device and to support you. It is kept on our hosting at Swisscenter, in Switzerland, and by email for the duration of our relationship, then deleted, except for accounting records that the law requires us to keep for 10 years. It is never sold or used for advertising.
By giving us the contact details of relatives or allowed contacts, you confirm that they agree or have been informed.
Data handled by the SereniVox device
- Call log: number, time and outcome of each call. It stays in the device, in your home.
- Unknown callers' introductions: when a number that is not allowed calls, the greeting tells the caller that their introduction (name and reason for calling) is recorded. This recording and its transcript are deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Analysis inside the device: speech recognition runs locally. No recording is sent to an online recognition service.
- Never recorded: calls from allowed numbers, conversations and outgoing calls.
Services used for remote access and alerts
- Alerts to relatives: they go through the ntfy notification service. An alert contains the caller's number (or "withheld number") and the words detected, not the recording.
- Remote family space: the connection to the device goes through the Tailscale service, encrypted end to end and protected by an account and password for each relative.
These providers may process technical data outside Switzerland, in countries recognised as offering adequate protection or under contractual safeguards.
People who call
Anyone whose introduction was recorded can ask what data concerns them, or have it deleted, by writing to the address above.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and object to its processing. The device is wiped completely whenever it is returned. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. The family space requires a personal account. Passwords are only stored in irreversibly encrypted form.
